Meet the Staff

Western Region Director of Outpatient and Community Based Services

Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. Jessica earned a BS in Sociology from Western Carolina University and a Master of Social Work and Master of Divinity from Baylor University. An Appalachian native, Jessica returned to Western North Carolina in 2013 and joined the Appalachian Community Services team. Having worked in several different direct care capacities Jessica assumed the role of Assistant Director of Outpatient and Community Based Services, supervising the western most counties served by Appalachian Community Services in 2015. Jessica has a passion for providing quality and compassionate services to those living in Western North Carolina and is proud to work for an agency that promotes both. When not at work Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, reading, collecting antique tea cups, and exploring other cultures.

Clinic Manager

Amy was raised in Toronto, Ontario Canada and moved to Georgia in 1993 where she currently resides.  Amy joined the ACS family in April 2011 as Support Staff. Over the next four years she wore many hats before assuming her role as Clinic Manager in October 2015. She has a passion for detail and strives to maintain excellent relations with community stakeholders and her staff.  Amy describes herself as being a realistic optimist; keeping a healthy perspective on life while maintaining realistic boundaries. In her free time, Amy is a cheer coach, loves college football and most of all enjoys being a mom to her one daughter.
