MORES

Mobile Outreach Response Engagement and Stabilization (MORES) provides specialized crisis response services for youth and families. It offers a face-to-face response to provide immediate assistance and to connect families with community resources.

 

Our MORES teams provide individualized treatment plans and advocate for clients to provide stabilization, trauma-informed treatment, aftercare planning, and connections to specialized services. The program serves individuals aged 3 to 21 and aims to reduce hospitalizations and out-of-home placements.  

 

Referrals are accepted from families, as well as stakeholders like DSS, DJJ, hospitals, schools, and law enforcement.

 

We currently serve Swain and Macon counties. The program is available Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm.
